This recipe uses rosemary, rosemary oil, garlic and onion powder to make a delicious apple pie.
The ingredients are all easily available in your pantry or kitchen.1 cup dried rosemary leaves (or fresh leaves)1 cup finely chopped garlic cloves1/2 cup chopped onion1/4 cup dried oregano1/3 cup salt1 teaspoon black pepper1 cup waterTo prepare the apple pie crust, use an electric mixer or hand mixer to blend all of the ingredients together.
The apple pie should be slightly sticky, but not runny.
Remove from the mixer and refrigerate until chilled.
To prepare the pie crust: Heat the oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat.
Add the garlic and onions.
Saute for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant.
Add oreganos, salt, pepper, and water.
Sauté for 2-3 minutes.
Remove the onion from the pan and set aside.2.
Mix the rosemary with the garlic, onion and oreganoes in a small bowl until smooth.
Add salt and pepper to taste.3.
Add water to the hot saucepan, and bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 2 minutes.
Add rosemary mixture to the saucepan and cook over low heat for 10 minutes.
Serve immediately, or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.4.
To serve, sprinkle the crust over the apple.
